You can't teach an old thot new tricks.
I was an official trainer for new hires for over a year. Apparently it is hard to get decent people in a factory job anymore, as each class of newbies is worse than the prior one.
In the last class, a woman with several convictions for meth and theft was hired merely because she passed the drug test- despite a conviction for: Posessing A Device or Substance to Falsify a Drug Test.
She was the worst kind of thot. 28, and already hitting the wall. Had a huge tattoo across the top of her chest that said "Laugh Now, Cry Later", came in for her first day on the production floor covered in glitter body spray (a big no-no here).
She was also an idiot. Completely incapable of learning to run the machines. But it was my job to train her, so i did my best- she even thanked me for my patience and said so to my boss.
After 2 weeks, i knew she wouldn't work out. Taking 10-20 minutes extra on breaks, repeated mistakes that could have the lots rejected by the customer, etc. I finally caught her blatantly falsifying documentation, which for our company is almost as bad as a safety violation.
When i called her out on it, she said she was afraid to ask because i seemed irritated with her, and what's the big deal anyway? She then said she was asking for another trainer after her next break.
It's not paranoia when they really are out to get you.
Suspecting the worst, i went immediately to HR and explained the situation, with the falsified documents in hand. Her only response was to send an email to the plant and production managers, which i did immediately.
As expected, an hour later i am called to the production manager's office... and hear that she has accused me of ogling and making comments about her breasts.
I respond truthfully and state that other than asking what the tattoo said, my only comments about her breasts were that she had to remove the glitter or get sent home. I then explained why she was hostile- her poor performance and falsifying documents. Thankfully, he believed the truth.
A War of Reputation*
Surprisingly to me, she wasn't fired for the things i showed the boss, despite it being a termination for a long time employee recently. Instead the nasty creature went on through the day, even bragging about her accusation to some of the women on smoke break.
Her mistake.
AWALT, but... i have a reputation after so long there. Always helpful, always respectful, and most importantly - not interested in anyone, including the few who are genuinely attractive. The women she bragged to about filing a harassment claim declared war on her. They reported her at every opportunity, and she was gone in 3 days.
The Moral
Just because you're a bitter and broken man, don't be anything but an example of the golden rule. I've declined several women at work, but i did so in a way that made them (if not respect me) at least protective of me.
