I don't know about the west, but in most eastern countries, if you are over 40, they allow to adopt male child.

Or you can just pay for a woman to be pregnant using your sperm and get the child and pay her and kick her out. That cost also more cheap in Asian countries.

Even if you are able to, you need to think about being a single parent. I agree that most single men are much more responsible than single women raising a child correctly (with good morals, work ethics, respect, etc.). But I still have doubts about a single parent (be it male or female) raising a child without that child having a feeling of emptiness. A fatherless child will always crave a father. What makes you think a motherless child won't crave a mother? Same principle.

I want a kid in the future too, and am even considering a surrogate mother as I want an heir of my own, but it's difficult for me to justify this decision due to the child.

Maybe something to think about.

Yes we can.Only if u get a lot of guys to fund a lawyer and Take it to high court to make this a law.Though,In South Africa u can adopt a Kid and Surrogacy is really cheap this side,cause an egg might cost $2000 and no woman is allowed to profit from this.So no woman can charge u money for carrying u kid in Her for 9 months.Pretty nice.But the problem is that u need to have at least 1 kid to do surrogacy
