9 years here, since my now-ex said she was divorcing me after 13 years of marriage because I lost my business, my credit, and my manhood in the Great Recession. I was prone to crying, alcoholism, depression, and a general feeling of uselessness. Honestly, I'm not surprised she divorced me, since Redpill/MGTOW theory says she will once your usefulness to her has ended.

Flash forward 4 years from that, and I'm working temp in a warehouse, and meet a guy who unlocks the puzzle. "That sounds awfully misogynist to me," I recall saying, as the guy tries to clue me in. We were the same age, and he'd also lost everything. After repeated tries on his part, I finally pick up a bread crumb. And then I just RAN with it, y'know? It just made SO. MUCH. SENSE. And I started improving myself right then. I loved lifting heavy stuff. I fucked some sluts, too, but never got into a relationshit. I rebuilt my credit and went from "warehouse associate" to "banker" (former personal finance author, now with some confidence to show in a job interview). This summer, I studied and passed some incredibly annoying securities exams, and got a giant raise. Then I decided my life wasn't hard enough and started Wim Hof "Iceman" training.

It really is true. When you don't have to worry about paying for some slag and dealing with psychological games, your life just takes off! I'm still far from perfect, but incorporate various life-improvement steps every month. 2018 was magnificent for me, and 2019 will be even better.

Same time frame for me - same mind set although, I still feel sad sometimes when I think of the relationship my ex threw away so, haphazardly. I'm not sure if my ex cheated but, it doesn't really matter anyway. Dating is horrible but, being able to do what I want, when I want and have a ton of free time is a blessing! I get the lonely feeling every now and then but, I have so many hobbies and interests!
