Everything here was supposed to disappear. Banned subreddits, deleted communities, cancelled blogs — much of what is archived here survives nowhere else.
It stays free — no paywall, no account — for the next man who comes looking, the way it was free for you.

You probably need to make some real decisions with how you're going to live out the rest of your life.
These days, in order to make a real living and not be a miserable slave, you need to either learn a trade or earn a real degree in something useful.
Otherwise, you'll be working in a coffee shop or ringing up energy drinks at a gas station until you die, because you won't always have a father to live with.
You need to ask yourself what field you think you'll be happy with.
You've already said that material possessions aren't important, so making a ton of money shouldn't be the focus of choosing a career path. Instead, think about a field that is interesting to you. Something you'll be happy in. Find some work that is meaningful to you, something you can see yourself actually enjoying and getting meaning out of.
There is more to life than just money and relationships, unlike what society has told you.
You can get happiness out of finding a calling for yourself. Some people do this through public service, like emergency medical services. Others do it through working with wild animals in veterinary clinics. Some people go work in back country wilderness clearing trails for weeks at a time.
Most of these jobs do not pay extraordinarily well in the monetary sense, but they provide a sense of purpose and fulfillment for the people who do them. Most of the people who take on these professions are doing so because they have decided that is their true purpose or calling in life, rather than chasing some car, house, and marriage.
You'll at least make more than selling monster energy drinks for minimum wage, and you will have more self respect.
The first thing you need to do is to start getting out of bed every morning and making sure you're doing everything you can to raise your level of self respect as high as you can. This will set you on a path towards finding whatever it is you're looking for.
Little things that you can turn into routine, will go a long way. Make sure you're practicing proper hygiene every day. Do a little exercise. Clean and press your clothes. Bring that self respect up, and you'll start feeling better about your situation.
Then start the soul searching for what you truly want out of life.
