I want to preface that I don't think "shit will hit the fan" and we regress forcefully to a more primal state of civilisation. In my opinion, future bankrupt countries will just be financially and then politically overtaken by authoritarian super states, slowly turning them into proxy dictatorships ala soviet union. Worst case will be a legit 1984 case scenario, who knows the specifics aren't relevant to my topic, just want to establish that we keep our tech and will more or less continue to progress.

Having said that, I wanted to adress one glaring issue with MGTOW, that will result from the mass adoption of this philosophy or even this common sense lifestyle for men surrounded by overwhelming misandry. I have been lurking on the MGTOW sub for a while now, and have very rarely seen this problem discussed. I know that we as individual men are essentially powerless, and it is hard enough to provide sustenance for ourselves while dodging the bear traps laid by society, but I do think it warrants discussion. So onto my actual arguments.

The current model doesn't work. Duh! I know, the rampant gynocentrism is the reason most of us are MGTOW. But swinging the pendulum back to traditionalism(1 women for each men) won't cut it either. Thanks to technology, women just lost too much bargaining power. Females have 3 main uses for men: homemaking, sex and the uterus. In the last decades we have seen how thanks to household appliances and now the convieniences of the internet, one men can easily take care of the household, making a stay at home wife obsolete(Coltaine has some great vids on that topic).

Right now, we are seeing the next use of women slowly eroding away. Sex. If we compare the price of pussy in traditional societies to now, it has sunk drastically. To get access to a women's vagina you had to marry, and take care of the children that she will inevitably breed with you. There were no contraceptives back then, so sex and female breeding power were a package deal. Marriage was a necessity to ensure that the women is being taken care of. Thanks to the pill and other contraceptives, the biological consequences of sex have been removed, which made marriage obsolete in my opinion. It seemingly gave them unprecedented power over their reproductive process. It divorced sex from female breeding power, and had the unintended consequence of dropping the price of pussy heavily. Suddenly, you usually don't have to worry about a "shotgun wedding" because you wanted the vagene. But it also meant, that if you get the milk for a low price(or free), why buy the cow? Now the environment changed so that the upfront price of vagene is really low, but the hidden costs can be immense. A women can destroy your life with a hole arsenal of weapons at her disposal. Faced with that the next best thing sex dolls,sex toys and VR look better and better not only as substitutes, but as full on replacements. This will kill intergender relationships. I know most men, find the substitutes to be uncanny or insufficient, but from a pure cost benefit analysis they beat an actual LTR with a modern women every time.And the laws will keep getting worse, while the substitutes will keep getting better. Even the average Joe will at one point will realise that the robot is a much better deal. So what's left?

Breeding power. The last bargaining chip women have, and will hold onto for a long while. As of this writing the artificial womb is pure scif-fi, maybe 80 year old fart me will live to see it, but I have serious doubts about it. Even if let's say at the end of this century we have pretty good prototypes up and running, why would you risk your offspring get potential genetic defects due to imperfect machinery, when we have a perfectly working 100% organic natural oven 3 billion times over again? As someone who wishes kids, you probably wouldn't take that risk, you stay with the true and tested way of breeding. So you have to go through a women to breed, which leads to me to the way I see the future of gender relations unfolding. A mass surrogacy program. If gender relations are doomed, short of banning any sexual replacement strategies(or SRS) and miraculously enforcing them, you need to make sure the babies keep popping out. Now I know there are cultures with high fertility rates, but even for the men of these cultures the SRS will be a much better option during the future, regardless of their religious, cultural or societal structures. The average men of these cultures is not a zealot, and you just need to show him the replacement once (for the sake of argument, picture an advanced VR setup), and he will seriously question why he seeks imperfect females to satisfy him. Couple that with the HUGE economic incentives to push that tech out, as its essentially a drug everyone is hardwired to be addicted to, you grind fertility rates to a halt. You don't want that and goverments don't want that. This surrogacy programm would be the most humane way of preventing essentially human extinction through SRS in my opinion. I don't know how it would look like in details, and I am pretty sure the draconic laws would have to be eased, so as to incentivise men to get children through it, even if the wahmen will not be happy with that. I hope it will be more of a free market surrogacy thing, instead of something goverment lead, but I have my doubts about that too.

All this depends on how authoritarian future goverments will get. But even if we go full on mind-reading dystopia, that goverment will still see SRS as the perfect technology to keep the masses working, and some sort of surrogacy to keep worker numbers up. That ensures that SRS will be further developped regardless of possible future paths, short of WW3 or apocalyptic events, and if SRS are good enough mass surrogacy is mandatory as we are nowhere near to artifical womb tech. You could argue that goverments might force men to marry women, but that wouldn't be in their best interest, as it would disgruntle men, creating unnecessary dissent when they can just have a perfect wife through SRS and use the females as wombs.

I skipped a lot, as this post is already really long, but you could make an argument( a weaker one) that men will become obsolete to women as well due to automation, but due to hypergamy and the social monkey branching nature of women they will always need men, even if only as social stamps of status. The SRS problem will hit long before almost every human can be replaced by automation, so I omitted the automation issue. Furthermore I skipped gene editing which boost the appeal of mass surrogacy even further for goverments.Also SRS include rudimentary AIs, since most men are even happy with already existing virtual chat bots, and they are bound to get better to. And just for effect, imagine what happens if the average blue pilled, weak willed men, can get a 10/10 whenever he wants.

Now roast my arguments, I wanna know what's left of it when you guys are done with it!

TL;DR : Sexual replacement strategies like sex robots and VR will inevitably lead to mass surrogacy programs to prevent destruction of fertility rates (aka. human extinction)
