This is just a random rant, but something I've noticed most of my life. Women make even the smallest things complicated. Just last night I was out with a couple of my friends and their girlfriends / wives. I'm the only single one in the bunch. We had gone to eat at a little local New York style pizza joint.

We get the menus, and decided to split an extra large pizza, and do a half and half thing for the toppings. So here's where the fun begins. Us men decided on the toppings in a matter of about 30 seconds. The women clucked back and forth over EVERYTHING. The waiter had to give them more time. He came back. "Are the mushrooms organic?" "Where are they grown from?" "Do you put the spinach on the pizza BEFORE or AFTER you bake it?" "I'd like some garlic on there but not TOO much." "How big are the pepperoni slices?" "If we get tomatoes on there are they full slices, or cut in half?" And all this other nonsense. It was all I could do to not say "Jesus Christ this isn't a cooking show, it's ordering a fucking pizza!" After what seemed like an eternity, they finally settled on what they'd like for the toppings.

The grand finale?? The pizza comes, and of course the guys happily eat our slices and it's great. 2 out of the 4 women bitched about SOMETHING: There were too many spinach leaves, there were too many tomatoes, one don't like the taste of the garlic (it's garlic you stupid bitch how could you NOT know what it tastes like??).

I just smiled and shook my head, and saw the defeat in my friends' eyes, knowing they'd have to hear their girlfriends and wives bitch at them about it for at least the entire ride home and possibly the rest of the night. "Why did you guys pick THAT spot", "The food was TERRIBLE", "I never want to go there again!" "You guys ate all your pieces and didn't offer us any when we said we didn't like ours!"

Life is so much simpler when you answer to no one.
