I'm not an expert, but I've always had a strong casual interest in the universe and all that. Have been reading and watching videos on theories about the universe, its structure, its creation, future, etc. etc. It's always been fascinating to me.

For the xmas/ny occasion I figured a post like this might be a breath of fresh air.

So I just wanted to put forward some random thoughts. It may be close to or wildly incorrect but in my observation of nature, there is a repeating pattern of order. And for life, that pattern is often a tree. How roots, the trunk, and how the branches spread & grow continuously into this massively complex yet simple system. Humans, animals, too have tree-like patterns: circulatory and nervous systems extend and branch out. River systems are tree-like in this sense as well from high-altitude down to where they eventually flow into oceans. The way our digital world is connected is strikingly similar to the internally networked structures of trees. Corporate and governmental frameworks also show similar signs. Either by coincidence or by design the tree is a powerful pattern.

And as we look further out, galaxies, clusters, "superclusters" and whatever other definitions for these larger & larger collections of cosmic structures it always reminds of of the same pattern.

So in my mind I like to think that the universe itself is a tree. And if there is more than one universe then they are all possibly trees also,. Or that ours may just be one part/branch/leaf of a gigantic multiversal tree. Has anyone else thought of the world this way too?

But what is the point of this post? I honestly don't know. But I guess that if the universe - and by extension life & existence - is indeed a tree, then it is quite beautiful. That means that since each one of us too is in a way a tree, we are also each a universe in itself. There is a lot of untapped potential for so much positive growth and change in each one of us.
