"Bridger is a hero. How brave is this young man? Hey, all. Please, share my nephew’s story so that it gets as much exposure as it can. We know that our little hero would love some words of encouragement from his favorite heroes. On July 9th, my six year old nephew Bridger saved his little sister’s life by standing between her and a charging dog. After getting bit several times on the face and head, he grabbed his sister’s hand and ran with her to keep her safe. He later said, “If someone had to die, I thought it should be me.” After receiving 90 stitches (give or take) from a skilled plastic surgeon, he’s finally resting at home. This is how little boys and men are viewed by society. We are expendable and should be all for our female counterparts. I normally have no issue with a boy standing up for anyone, but that line right there says all it needs to. He thought his life was less than his sisters. He now knows his JOB is to die for anyone with a vagina. His DUTY is to jump in front of a monster for women. Would this be all over the internet if it was his friend that was a boy? Would he say the same thing? If he did he would be getting therapy for suicidal tendencies. Does that kid look happy about what he did? Are the stitches or massive frown on his face say that he is happy about the outcome? Go your own way.

At least Captain America sent him his shield, if that counts for something. On a more serious note, if you're going to praise this kid, don't do it with words, but with a bit of financial help. This kid definitely needs it. He's going to have to have plenty of surgery, not to mention plenty of mental help and lots of ice cream, because this has to be traumatic for an adult man, never mind an elementary school age boy. And I don't blame him for saving his sister, but it does show that the complaints women have about systemic sexism from the patriarchy go away once they realize they need men and boys to protect them from bad things. Maybe we should defund police, that'll be like the best trolling ever. Let women fend for themselves.

After all, I've seen teenage girls get money because daddy cut them off because he doesn't approve of their lesbian or interracial relationships and they whine about it on social media.

That's not what he thought. He thought it was his job, not a choice. That's the problem. Had he said "I wanted to be like Superman" or "I was just trying to be a good big brother" it wouldn't be that big of a deal. He said "If someone should die, it should be me." Why is a 6 year old thinking like that at all?! Why does he think hes better off dead than his sister? Would he feel the same way if it was a boy friend that was getting mauled by a dog? If he did, they would throw him in therapy, but because shes a girl no one sees a problem with him thinking his life is less than hers. Would ANYONE think less of the kid if he ran to get help? No way! But his first thought was to jump in front of a monster because a boy should die over a girl. That's how men and boys are viewed in society. We are less and should die for our female counterparts.
