To be fair minus the single mother part her ideas would resonate with many. I've always thought about living off the grid and being self sufficient. While I'd like to think I have had more financial successful then majority of the world, I still get the urge to just up and quit and move to the middle of nowhere.

Many people are doing this and it’s a sign as to how much power and control the government now has in our lives. We have lost all our freedom the last 50 years, we are all mostly wage slaves to the machine.
Real estate taxes need to be abolished. Really the government needs to be abolished.
