I'm expected to be okay with "equality" groups with names like "Woman's Rights". I don't have a fucking default subreddit. I guess I'm more than equal simply because I'm a man.

You got raped, you were hurt by someone you trusted, you think some people are mean. You got dealt a bad hand, you feel like you need a place to vent, I'm sorry that whatever it is has happened to you. But your fucking Gender should have nothing to do with you being an emotional wreck and there is no reason to exclude the other sex in a conversation because of it. You can't advocate never using certain words and topics just because it makes you uncomfortable. Some people get all fucking butthurt when you simply use the word "retard". It may be offensive, but it is a very good one word metaphor. If you can't rationally discuss EVERY person's viewpoint then you're not fighting for equality, you're fighting for a bullshit fantasy world. This means you have to be able to talk to EVERYONE, not just the people you like. Like shit, have your female health forum, you have bleeding vaginas and shit that I can't relate to because I have male sexual organs, but don't pretend for a second that you are advocating everybody’s social interests. I don't go into the fucking female's restrooms, and I don't have a reason to go into a female's forum. But If you're only going to install a female restroom on the first floor then I'm going to have to shit in it when I need to and make me and everyone else feel pretty uncomfortable doing so. But apparently the girls are advocating our use of the first floor female restroom so no worries, but they're not going to install urinals because it makes them uncomfortable. If a guy really needs to pee but he can't find the male restroom because it doesn't exist, they let him use the female one but only under strict guidelines. Then when we try to build a Male restroom they scoff at us and say that we’re pretentious and don’t need our own restroom on the first floor. “Just go to the third floor there is a men's bathroom right there urinals and all. But still feel free to use our bathroom not designed for you as long as you play by our rules.”

Men get raped. Men get used. Men get killed. Men get tortured. Men are expected to protect women, but then are made to feel inferior when they request protection. Men are fucked over by divorce.

So what I’m getting at is why the hell is something like 2X, but for men, not a default subreddit? Obviously the message Reddit is projecting is that men don’t need any help finding a social group if they feel they need gender specific help. Men never need help do they? Men are strong.

Or, better yet, why don’t we just be RATIONAL HUMANS and put aside sex and just talk about our problems as people? If you keep putting a label on something then it will always be categorized by the implications of the name. If you say the word "Feminism" to someone with only a basic understanding of language they should logically assume it is something mainly involving Femininity due to the prefix and philosophy due to the suffix. If you honestly believe that you can pass off “Feminism” as something advocating equality for sexes just because that’s what you believe the word means you are sadly mistaken. For example: If I was to start a movement or ideology called Naziism, I’m going to probably attract people that advocate the growth of an Aryan master race through means such as targeted genocide. ”But that’s not what I intended Naziism to be” I tell the people that criticize my movement. Sure there are people in the Naziism community that kill Jews and Blacks and the disabled, but that’s not what Naziism is about at all those people simply misunderstood our cause and took it to the extreme they don’t represent us as a whole. Naziism is a group that advocates the fashion sense of the Nazis. Hitler youth haircuts, cool arm bands, tiny moustaches that kind of thing. Do you see what I’m getting at? A name sets the whole precedent for anything at all, that’s how language works. Just because it works differently than what you would like it to does not mean feminism does not give off a sexist vibe. Reality is not so forgiving. You set the possibility for an outcome and that outcome will happen eventually. Some people don’t seem to handle validation well and will take it as an excuse to be utterly horrible people, don’t give them that chance. Be a responsible human and say yeah, that word is pretty misleading, we should probably change it. Otherwise you are just asserting that it really is as the extremist’s project meaning it is about profitable female inequality and not about human equality at all. If you are a feminist group and you want to actually advocate human equality, how about you start by calling your movement something that initially inspires thoughts of HUMAN EQUALITY instead of female sex activism. You are the one promoting your role in society. Complaining about a gender and pretending you're being treated in a way you don't like only because of your sex is not going to change anything. Assholes will be assholes regardless of gender. The world sucks, let's talk about it together and try to get rid of all assholes.

If you ignore roughly half of the human population you’re going to acquire a skewed world view. So why the hell are the genders waging war on each other like we’re not all capable of the only redeemable part of a human regardless of gender: rational thought. Merge 2X and men’s rights and you would have the only subreddit humans should need as regards human rights violations and the world would be a more understanding place. But until the genderists are willing to do that I would like to see Men’s Rights or something similar get a place on the default subreddit list because apparently my problems as a male just don't matter as much.
