I'm not a fan of hate speech laws. They seem vulnerable to abuse. However they are on the books in many countries, including Canada and the UK, and what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

I'm curious why no one in those countries has ever attempted to charge feminists with hate speech. Replace "male" or "white male" with "black" or "first nations" and the case would be obvious. Are there stipulations in these laws specifically saying that "white men" are not included as an identifiable group? And if so, shouldn't such laws be challenged?
