Good on you. Governments of USA and UK post annual national crime figures including sexual assaults etc, so that's a starting point. Problem of course is most female cases literally get away with and aren't found guilty so won't be logged. That's where its complicated. Try charities who provide their own figures. 'Menkind' is a mans charity related to sexual abuse that may offer some guidance as to figures and to where else to look. Next, also try searching for academic papers and studies already carried out. Some search engines are made that specifically only search for academic papers. Obviously, peer reviewed ones would be best but should shed some light anyway.

I would focus the search only on the past five years as its only this recently that most cases are even being reported. Before that they were mostly dismissed as 'boys who were lucky' and all that rubbish. This will also show how the figures have shot up now that we admit its not acceptable, showing how widespread female sexual abuse is among teachers.

Well anyway, that's all I could think of off the top of my head. Let us know how you get on and what you turn up.

I think this indicates that the 1 in 23 figure for men may be a gross underestimate!
