I'm actually astounded by this. I legitimately thought it was primarily done to women because I can't think of a single news story about it happening to a man and can think of plenty about women. I never really dug into it. That you for chipping away at a view I had out of ignorance. It's just never been a major discussion for me, so I didn't research it.
