Why has Biden still not been expelled from the feminist woke party for being a creep yet? Boggles the mind.

I think it is because they need him too much.

He helped to create the "rape culture" frenzy against men on college campuses and he was the architect of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), so he is basically untouchable.

When you think about it that way, it kind of makes sense why a psychopath / serial sexual harasser like him would want to cooperate with the female supremacists: he helps them ruin other men, but meanwhile he can get a free pass to creep on all the women he wants in front of the whole country. A lot of abusers thrive on the thrill of knowing they have the power to get away with something like that.

I don't understand why anyone would want Biden except for name recognition.

Feminists have convinced Democrats that people are so bigoted against women, that now Democrats don't believe women can win a Presidential Election...

I think there are a lot of people who support him because he comes across to them as trying to appeal to the working class and union members whereas a lot of the other Democrats who are running are focusing more on college educated voters who are considered to be in the progressive wing of the party.

Biden is not scary. Experienced and middle of the road.

I'd love to see AOC or Kamala Harris or Stacey Abrams have a go at president but they don't have the experience. Biden does.

Biden is not scary.

I know you probably mean well, but I strongly beg to differ on this point.

Joe Biden was a primary proponent of the "Dear Colleague" letter campus sexual assault kangaroo courts that blatantly infringed on the due process rights of the accused: https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2019/04/03/joe-biden-college-campus-sexual-assault-226481

He called men cowards if they see a woman suffering violence but don't do something about it (i.e. men must protect women at their own risk while it would be victim blaming to say the woman has any obligations): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hjvncps88C4

He yelled at men and shamed them with a vulgar and highly unnecessary reference to the rape scene in the movie Deliverance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XDxTChzikqI

He also engages in extremely creepy behavior around women, but he gets a free pass from #MeToo since he helped create the anti-male environment that allows them to flourish: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAymXlGSplU

I see him as an extremely anti-MRM / anti-male candidate. He is most certainly scary. He is a heartless monster who is definitely not on our side.

P.S.: I didn't down vote you in case it seems that way.

[–]antilopes 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I meant scary for mainstream voters not the MRM.

The "Dear Colleague" letter is I hope widely recognised as an idea that was not properly thought through and I'm glad it has been reversed but the previous / present situation isn't wonderful either, I don't think that will be seen as disqualifying by most people.

One of Trump's legacies is a wave of women saying "fuck this, I need to get into politics". He has brought back the '70s really, except this time women realistically can run for president and coloured people are not excluded. So Biden's 8 years experience as VP might come in handy.

He is definitely not my type of candidate, but I can see what you are getting at.

Of course, there aren't very many candidates who inspire me nowadays. I don't know how much of that is due to how extreme things have gotten vs me just finally realizing that politics isn't as straightforward and rosy as it had always seemed to me before.

For me it is very simple. I would literally vote for Hitler or the Ayatolla Khomeini if they could do something to slow down global warming significantly. Nothing bad that they would do would be too high a price to pay.

I would love to see her lead the ticket.
