Crosspost "Women can't rape men" from /r/BlackPillFeminism:
One of the most tiresome false equivalences (and one of Reddits favorites!) is the idea that a woman forcing a man into sex is JUST AS BAD as man raping a woman.
But rape is not just a physical act, it is also psychological and social violence. And neither of those things apply when a man is "raped" by a woman. Females evolved to be selective about sex, while males evolved to have sex with everything that moves. For females, forced sex is a catastrophe, because it can lead to 9 months of pregnancy, painful and dangerous birth and then years of tending to a child. In other words, the risk and the cost of losing control of our reproduction is extremely high for us. For males, there is no risk whatsoever. Having to reproduce with woman he didn't choose wont even make a dent to man's reproductive power and freedom. Once the act is over, there are no consequences for him to suffer. The difference in physical strength and social power also means that men will never in such event experience the sense of powerlessness that women do.
This is why women evolved to avoid, fear and suffer from rape, while men did not. From evolutionary perspective, woman forcing man to sleep with her simply is not much different from consensual sex. There is no real negative. This is why you will never find an example of a male who was as deeply traumatized by being raped by a woman as female rape victims are. These men are not becoming depressed, suicidal, fearful, their lives are not being shattered by this event.
And socially, too, there is no stigma for a man raped by a woman. He wont be seen as a slut who deserved it, scheming witch who is trying to ruin innocent women's lives, damaged goods etc. Quite the opposite, he is applauded for being a player. The stigma and shame of raped woman is enormous, same goes for children of both sexes and even men raped by men. In fact, the only true rape that a male can experience is as a child, or in the hands of another man. Those events can have similar psychological and social impact, causing sense of powerlessness, shame, social stigma etc and the trauma is much closer to what women suffer.
Think about it: if being raped by a woman was truly traumatic and terrible for males, why has patriarchy never taken it seriously? Patriarchy exists to keep women down in order to benefit men, it works in every single other aspect, but somehow men just forgot to care about this (according to moids) HUGE issue that has been traumatizing countless innocent males for centuries? Men never cared because they know it doesn't matter.
In fact, the only true harm that a male will experience if raped by a woman, is the possibility of 1)getting an STD and 2) unwanted pregnancy where he would have to pay child support. Neither of these have anything to do with rape itself.
No, I am not advocating for women to force men into sex. 99,999999% of women have no interest in that anyway, as we know, and most such stories are made up as anti-feminist arguments. I do believe that while forced sex is always morally bad, it is not in this case anywhere NEAR equivalent to woman being raped by a man and we shouldn't pretend otherwise. Doing that just downplays the harm that female victims experience.
