Bit of a sensationalist headline although the opening paragraph does tend to sound like the author is saying having daughters is better than sons. However I am actually very interested in this technology. As a gay man I want children, and there is something about a biological child that has appeal. However, at this point I would rather not have a daughter, my preference would be for a son. So I have mostly been considering adoption.

people (in the western world) forget that, no matter how far our 'society' advances, we will always need people to work in dangerous and tough enviroments.

Wouldn't surprise me, women are the privileged sex.

Now if the misandry bubble pops and people once again realize just how important men are to the stability of society, that will change, and right quick.

Pound for pound, men are more valuable in a society that isn't as heavily entrenched in misandric entitlements and privileges for women as this one: http://www.the-spearhead.com/2011/05/04/the-economics-of-male-preference/

And of course such a society as this one, built on misandry/feminism, is entirely unsustainable.
