This entire article is basically a woman trying to explain why even the smartest women fall madly in love with players that plate them. She obviously calls them assholes for their lack of commitment but then also says that the main reason women are attracted to them, is their "unattainable" nature. Pretty stupid calling them assholes for the main reason your interested in them.

From a womans perspective she gets whisked away by a mysterious man and falls madly in love and tries to fix his damaged personality and make him faithful. Shes no longer a powerful independent woman who only needs the mirror to feel good about herself but now needs validation from her man. But it wasn't meant to be and it turns out he's an asshole like her ex. Why is he an asshole? Probably because he didn't commit. And the cycle continues until she gives up and settles for someone in her own league.

Male POV. Oh this girl is kinda cute. Employs game, stays outcome independent, exhibits dominant traits and drip feeds validation to the girl so she craves it. Doesn't share too much about himself and stays casual and fun. Proceeds to have fun sex for a couple months until woman inevitably develops feelings and respectfully ends contact. Then carries on with life.

If I was still blue pill I'd say these women were being manipulated or despite their proclamations to be smart they were dumb as bricks but now I just see this as "typical".
