That's what I was thinking. The supreme court has definitely ruled that if you are in public and you can see it you can film it. A judge in Georgia recently even said upskirts were legal and they had to scramble to pass a law. Now if he was filming in a bathroom or through the window of a home that would DEFINITELY be invasion of privacy.

I know this is technically not a pussy pass as far as a woman breaking the law, but it is DEFINITELY a pussy pass and abuse of privilege when a woman can get a guy arrested for something like this. Seems like another instance of police not knowing the law and arresting someone anyway only to let the judge sort it out. Not saying it is right, but there are laws for a reason. There are plenty of examples of things that are immoral being legal. This one is pretty tame comparatively.

She can dress more modestly if she chooses. However, if you are in public people can film. What is to stop someone from jerking off fo the restaurant camera footage? There are cameras everywhere and you have no expectation of privacy in public. Otherwise people would be arrested filming family videos at the beach.

The legal onus is on this lady to cover up her legs. Handling women with kid gloves and treating them as if they don't have full agency in which body parts they choose to expose is infantilizing and goes against the true nature of feminism. Get with the times. Just a few posts down on this SAME reddit sub a woman was arguing that she should be able to spread her legs and cum in public. You CANNOT have it both ways.

Once again I get that it is creepy, but the supreme court says that is within the law. Otherwise it is a slippery slope telling people what they can and can't film in public. If you can see it with your eyes you can film it. The law is very clear on this and well established. I'm not defending the guy but he did nothing technically illegal.

What he should have said was if people go in public where anyone can see them, what's the difference if they are filmed so anyone can see them? And you my friend are dumb too!

You are not helping women by taking agency away from them and viewing them the way you do. You didn't watch both videos and it is clear you are too obtuse to connect the dots, so im done trying to convince you.

I can almost guarantee the so called "victim" was wearing provocative clothing. She should take some responsibility. Joe Rogan DID mention in one of the videos, "would you call it victim blaming to tell the guy that was mauled by a bear at Rutgers not to rum from bears?". And the other guy said "Im definitely gonna tell my daughter not to get drunk at a frat house." That's common sense not victim blaming. Give women some respect and stop infantilizing them. If you wear provocative clothing you have to be willing to accept partial responsibility for other people's reaction. NO I do not see anything wrong with telling a woman it is risky to walk down a dark back alley wearing a short skirt and heels. Common sense tells you she is more likely to be raped wearing that than if she was dressed more modestly. Again its not victim blaming it is COMMON SENSE.
