The article does not advocate cheating. It starts with the assumption that one has cheated; then advocates not apologizing for having done so, and advocates reminding her that the relationship has ended if she considers it ended.

That said, what honor is there in pledging sexual exclusivity if the relationship is on an at-will basis, and either party can walk away at any time for any reason or no reason at all, free from encumbrance? Doesn't making a pledge like that, under those circumstances, strike you as self-demeaning?

You're completely, utterly, 100% wrong. What you're saying goes directly against TRP and it saddens me that people are upvoting you.

There's a difference between being a good man, and good at being a man. Darth Vader might be evil, but no one's going to call him a pussy.

If you have a lot of attributes that are attractive to women, such that multiple women desire you sexually, then you are succeeding as a man. Being good or bad is a separate issue.

That's why we say TRP is about sexual strategy, morality aside. Evolution doesn't care. A man is a man, good or bad. Welcome to the jungle.

I don't think cheating is a good strategy. If you get caught your name is garbage, you will lose the trust of those around you. Reputation is all important. It you aren't prepared to be monogamous then don't pretend to be.

OP, don't worry about the downvotes. Every single person who posted here before me is wrong. TRP is about sexual strategy, not morality. Impregnating multiple females = more offspring = good for your genes. Male cheating /= female cheating. Female cheating is much worse, as it can cause genetic extinction for the man. Good link.

If the RP is not about morality, why do you treat it as if it was?

You cannot use the RP to excuse or condemn anything, it is about the pure mechanics of attraction.
