Reputation holds incredible value for any person (man or woman alike)

Hell, even one of the 48 laws stresses its importance by saying you must guard it with your life. Your reputation influences the way people will perceive you at the immediate moment, and it will dictate future encounters with that person. Even without Red Pill teachings, any person with a decent sense of self preservation will try to guard their reputation. However, in today's Politically Correct culture, guarding one's reputation has become synonymous with being (for the lack of a better word) a bitch. When one's only response to conversations in daily social interaction is to passively agree and go along with the crowd, they become a boring, tasteless person, whose only impact (rather non-impact) was that they didn't upset anyone or disagree with anyone. Now, what's left is just a watered down version of guarding one's reputation, by being as vanilla as possible.

If men never questioned, never went against the norm, and only wished to preserve their image in the eyes of the public, humanity would not be where it is today. Simply put, a man should at least stand up for his own ideals, even if they don't align with those of the masses. A great example are male feminists. Their misguided belief in going with the group and what "is right" has turned them into a bitch in the eyes of those who they oppose and in the eyes of those who they fight for (women)

As a man, guarding your reputation is different than being a Banal Beta Bitch. You must keep your personal and business lives separate. Crazy ex's, plates, or personal issues should not come to affect what you do for a living, and vice versa. Don't give up your ideals for social gratification or even a hot chick. As a Red Pill man, you come first and shoddy ideals will only degrade your mentality and create self doubt in a man that should be Stoic.
