I ran into this concept awhile back and it was also posted to this sub 2 years ago. I removed the link to it because it flagged me.

In biology and psychology, the Coolidge effect is a phenomenon seen in mammalian species whereby males (and to a lesser extent females) exhibit renewed sexual interest if introduced to new receptive sexual partners, even after refusing sex from prior but still available sexual partners.

There was also this experiment done with mice, they introduced several female mice to an enclosed space with a single male. As you can expect the male mated with all the females and eventually got bored with them and refused to mate with the females, even after the females were edging him on to keep mating. They introduced a new female into the group and as you can expect he started mating with the new female. There was also studies done on cows and bulls and they reported that the bull refused to mate with cows he already mated with.

If we look at the male and female at their reproduction availability, the male has more of an incentive to mate with other females, as he produces sperm all year around. As for females, they are usually only able to have children when she is ovulating etc. Not to mention that females tend to look after their offspring and that takes time and resources. Sure once a female gives birth to her offspring she can look for another male to mate with. You would think that this would be possible in nature. It is not, usually in nature when a male finds a female and she has offspring, the first thing that the male does is try to kill her offspring. This is hard wired shit, as a male I don't want to raise someone else's fucking kid! I think this is hard wired to all males, as well as how we usually tend to look for younger women to have sex with, the more children she can produce, if she is younger. It's just natural law, things that we cannot change even if you have knowledge of it.

I think society has given women the freedom to be promiscuous, they removed all the fear of natural law. If he runs out on you, don't worry child support that mother fucker, etc. Then you can look for another male, while the first mother fucker pays for the kids, while you get pregnant by another dude. If you study natural law and look at modern women, you would think that this bitch is a male lion, that's a fucking dude! That's the mating strategy of male not a female, simply by reproduction availability women should not be more promiscuous, but they are! Why is it in the past when marriage was still viable, did we not see more men be promiscuous? Was it shame, fear, morals that kept him in check? Do women lack those now, did they ever have them?

I did this experiment to test the coolidge effect a little. I would like to hear your thoughts on the matter. I would appreciate the feed back. So I told myself if I would also get bored with sex just like the mice did with the females he had. I picked a porn video that i liked watched it, masturbated to it success. The next day i was feeling like masturbating I opened the SAME clip and played it, masturbated to it success. Well you get the idea. After awhile of masturbating to the same clip, i couldn't jerk off to it as i once did. I had to really work hard to finish, I later said to myself, why even bother with that shit, if you have to force it? It was more work than it was worth. After awhile my mind became grossed at the idea of even jerking it to the same clip, it became a bad experience. I would be in the mood for a little sexual relief but then i thought about the same clip I had to watch and said "nah, better go lift or something else", i was literally finding excuses not to jerk off! I stopped jerking off for awhile, longer than i have ever had before, but i had the urge creep up on me so I opened up the same clip, and i did finish. So my question is how married guys don't get bored with fucking the same chick, if it was just sex then maybe you would get tired of her. Sure a relationship entails more than just sex, there are things you bond over, events, things etc. But lately on this sub i have been hearing of guys saying how after awhile fucking the same girl that they plated becomes boring, they say that it's best to keep more than one plate, spine plates as you will. If all of these things are true, why are men not more promiscuous than women? Why is it the reverse that is true? Are women just pretending? Are they trying to act like dudes or were they always dudes, just kept in check by natural law and their reproduction availability? Now that the fear of natural law has been removed, now that they can reproduce when they want, they show who they really are.
