Summary: In order for a man to truly improve in social relations, he must understand the difference between mimicry and internalization.

Prologue

This is another subject I see that constantly keeps getting pushed aside when it comes to improvement in a man's social life. It's understanding the difference between mimicry and internalization. Now some men may argue that whether or not one is mimicking is irrelevant as long as he succeeds in getting his goal which I would argue with however I do believe that internalizing can lead to more benefits as oppose to mimicking.

The Paradox

I'm sure most of us have this before but the story goes like this:

There are two men; Bob and Chad.

Chad was brought up in a house with a strong role model as a father and as a result has learned from him confidence. He is not consciously aware that acting confident in front of women attracts them.

Bob on the other hand did not have a strong role model as a father. In fact, he lives in a single parent home with his mother. He does not learn how to be confident and as a result has a hard time attracting women.'

So we got that now? Good. Here's where we see this what I would call a "paradox" fall in. After repeated failure with women Bob decides to read book on how to attract women. He also starts to take notice in Chad's behavior. After observing Bob begins to understand that acting confident will lead him to attracting more women. So he decides to act more confident and sure enough his failure starts to turn into success.

But hold on.... Bob has started to act like that only because he wanted to attract women. Before he was unconfident and he still is, he's just being "fake" and "manipulative". He's not really confident, deep down he's just a unconfident loser.

This is why a lot of people tend to hate and ridicule theredpill. Because most people are supposed to "just get it" and be socially good. Nobody should write it down for you to learn, otherwise it's "creepy".

This is far from the truth. If you look back in the story you will notice I had italicized the word "learn". Why? Because we have ALL learned it. Some may disagree with me here and that's fine. I don't believe that in world devoid of blue pill indoctrination that all men will somehow be these alpha chad's who attract all the women.

No. We all have to learn it. There is no such thing as "charismatic" or some "gift" to be affable. There is only people who understand how people are and do things that breed familiarity and affection because they know it.

After we understand this, I can finally move onto why it's important to separate mimicry and internalization.

The Difference

Mimicry is something we must all do before we can truly actually internalize something. Change your actions, and your thoughts will follow (Whisper). However what separates it from internalization is when we began to understand WHY we do it and practice it. It becomes a "habit".

This is why most PUA's fail, because they simply just tell men how to "act" and never give them the reason why or give them the problem. So when men take advice from PUA's we get a whole bunch of men mimicking attractive behavior and never understanding why they do it, which leads them to never internalizing.

Sure maybe it will work in the short term. However in the long term they will fail because they are only acting on the solutions PUA's give them. And trust me, people will pick up on mimicry REAL quick because a lot of times It can have "holes". The solutions are situational which why it's important to understand why we do it.

A man will know when he internalizes something when he can do without always thinking about it. Kind of like how you always ask someone how there day is because you know people like empathy, however you don't always think: "Hmmmm. I have to ask this person this in order for him or her to like me".

It comes habitually, because you internalized it. You understand the problem and make solutions from your own discern and not from others. This is what it means to internalize.

This is why practice is important. If one keeps acting confident, their mind will change until it becomes normal and ingrained into our DNA. I know this may sound like pseudo science, but consider this;

How does one become a "alcoholic"? By habitually drinking it until their body becomes accustomed to it. Their body will than start to believe it needs it, and this same behavior gets passed down to their offspring.

With this I close out.
