When you get dished a red pill, it is more than just a one-time thing. While the first red pill is more memorable than the others, the same effects still apply. AWALT is something that is heavily mentioned here. From my understanding of AWALT, they ALL have the POTENTIAL to cheat, divorce, harm, and/or belittle you. So in other words no matter what a woman does or says to you, you should not be surprised. All. Women. Are. Like. That. In retrospect, I should have been more aware of this...

After a long day of work, I decided to stay in on a Friday night. I kicked it with my friends for a few hours but afterwards I was so tired to make some more plans. Once I got home, I deceived to hang with my sister (two years younger than me, we’re both home for the holidays). I entered her bedroom, and she was on the phone with her “best friends”. Now to add more to them story, my sister is in a relationship with this guy, BUT they broke up on NYE because he was out with his family out of town, and he did not pick up the phone to answer her calls. She ended up blocking his number and spending NYE with her ex. That’s another story though.

Anyways, I’m in her room and I notice that she’s on FaceTime with two other guys and not one of them is her boyfriend. I make it seem as if I’m too interested on my phone but the conversation made me throw up inside. He was flirting with her aggressively and even made comments about being her next boyfriend and that her current boyfriend wasn’t doing it right. Now, I had suspicions of my sister being like this, but I honestly did not want to believe it. I know AWALT even applies to your sister, your mother, your grandmother, etc.

My problem is that I preached AWALT while excluding my family. It was tough for me to realize that my sister is no different from the other ones, but that is okay. She is a woman and that is within their nature. I see a lot of people consider their family members as exceptions to AWALT, but in reality they are not fully internalizing it. My sister displays hypergamous behaviors with her beta (but surprisingly cool) boyfriend. He will never understand unless he sees this for himself. While it is not my place to tell him I do feel sorry for the guy. I’m not going to police and tell her that what she is doing is wrong because frankly it is none of my business. There are NO exceptions to AWALT and you are only harming yourself when you think otherwise.

TL;DR: AWALT, even your younger sister.
