I’ve seen it tons all over reddit about weak co-dependent males “devastated” over losing “the love of their lives” and trying to rationalize staying in a relationship when their SO has done all kinds of crazy shit (i.e. fucking the entire neighborhood)
It hurts me to see these posts because the men are absolutely pathetic and unless they fix themselves, they’re going to go from one relationship to the next with the same results.
I started thinking about what advice I could give and it hit me, the key to keeping a woman is actually really simple.
From my experience, the key to keeping a woman is to live your life in a way where she knows you’d be just fine without her.
When you become dependent on her and your relationship with her, for your identity and your sense of self worth, you become less attractive to her and after a while she gets bored.
When you go about your life, doing what you’ve always done, blazing the trails you’ve always blazed on your path to succeeding at life, and invite her along for the ride, but being unwilling to deviate from the vision you have for the way you want your life to play out, she understands that her role is now to support you in your endeavors and you won’t tolerate obstacles that get in the way.
So live your life, not seeking out a woman, but by seeking out the kind of life you’d like, and the woman who is attracted to what you’ve created will follow. Don’t fall for the mirage that the woman and the relationship is the be all end all, she is just a result of the life you carved out.
