For the past month, I've been in what I am now referring to as "maneuvers" with a potential plate over text. I have met both in person, and known both for a period of years, so this is not a "cold" situation.

The problem essentially boils down to this: She kills the conversation with a non-response at some point in any conversation she initiates. Here's an example.

Her: What's going on

Me: I went to Detroit over the weekend. You?

Her: Detroit???

Me: Yep

There has been no response from her for a couple days now. I'm not going to attempt to restart this conversation because I feel like that would be compromising my position.

What is she playing at? Should I attempt to re-initiate or escalate?
