So as the title states, she will be travelling to her country of birth for several weeks. In general, our relationship is pretty strong. I know she will be seeing her ex-boyfriend because he is one of the few ties she has left in said country. I do understand wanting to hold onto the culture you grew up in, and I don't think anything will happen because she has been up front with me about everything.

My response was essentially, "Ok, have a great time I'll see you in a few weeks :)." How should I have handled this? We are not in contact while she is away due to roaming charges etc.
