​We met at the pub at 6 pm. Sat at the bar​ and ordered drinks. I teased her and got her to laugh. I used kino when I could - light touches on the thigh, shoulder and arms mainly. I asked her plenty of questions and it wasn’t difficult to keep the conversation going at all. I did give her some space to breathe and ask about me though. We’re from two different countries but we have a lot in common, including the language I’m learning. She’s only in the country for a month.

I kept strong eye contact for most of the night I think, and did my best to maintain sexual state as well. At some point the conversation got more intimate and we started talking about our (not so great) family backgrounds. She didn’t reciprocate the kino at all during the night, but there was a point after talking about our families where it seemed like she looked at me a bit differently - her eye contact was more steady and she gave me this look as if she was ready to cry. Maybe it was the “doe eyes” or maybe she was just emotional about talking about her family background, it was hard for me to tell.

We didn't leave till 10:30 pm or so, which is 1.5 hours after the place officially closed. The pub didn't kick us out which was really great of them. We ordered food there as well. I paid for everything and she said she appreciated that. We hugged goodbye and I asked her if she wanted to go out again. She said we could text and maybe go out next week.

After about an hour I texted her good night and wished her a good weekend. She had mentioned she was going to a concert to another nearby town and the next day I texted her asking when she was going. Haven’t got a reply to either text. Am I right to assume she’s not interested? She was a bit late to my initial texts after I got her number initially. What would be a good next step from here to help me get a second date if it’s still possible?
