Hey guys.

Had a definitive date planned several days ago with this girl (this would be the 4th date)

She calls me in the afternoon today and says she doesnt want to do X because she is "too tired and didn't sleep well".

I said thats fine we can do something more low key.

Calls me again later in the evening "Oh I can't see you now because my sibling that I haven't seen in 6 months is coming over for dinner and we are doing family stuff"

Then she tried to reschedule to which I said "next week im booked" then she said the week after to which I said "like possibly we will see"

40 minutes later: she starts texting me "I'm so sorry, family stuff, maybe we can do something after?"

Me: "All good and possibly. Call me later tonite"

Never heard anything from her.

Either 1) This is bullshit and something or some one else more appealing became available and she jumped on it all while keeping me as a backup hence the "maybe we can do something after" text from her.

Or 2) it is legitimately true.

95% sure Option 1 is more probable.

The current plan is to Soft Next her and plan dates with the other girls I have been talking to. In my priority list I will move her down the list.

Any thoughts on what I could have texted/said, etc, and or how to manage this situation?
