Im in a similar situation. 22 and receding hairline. Still have a good amount of hair on my head but doesn't seem like it will last long. Ill probably have to go bald with a beard once it gets really bad.

It affects you if you let it. Like with everything in life - if you own it it's fine. I went through the same thing and I have more interest from young women now than I've ever had.

If you don't have the right sort of face for it, yeah. It's gonna affect your looks in a bad way.
