It's incredible and tragic that these female criminals that do false rape accusations aren't forced to pay you back your legal fees. And then some.

At least go back to school. It's understandable if you don't want to go back to the same place. How did it come out on the transcripts? I'd check that out in case the current school tagged something on there that might give another school some doubts.

That's to be expected after what you've been through. You might want to look into some resources for PTSD. There's also the all in one legal guide on the sidebar, but it doesn't really go into post false accusation territory, and I think you are past the legal phase.

Find a different school. She will without a doubt let everyone know you're a rapist. Liars tend to double down on their lies when caught.

Never tell any woman this happened to you. Find a male therapist specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy. When you date, go to her place. Make sure she texts you to say how good the sex was.

It was a very weak accusation that came about after the girls boyfriend happened to find out about it.

Funny how that happens. Similar thing happened to a buddy of mine, except they were too drunk to actually fuck. Of course, the girl had to explain to the bf where she was the night before, and, suddenly, she was "assaulted". Maybe she went through with the rape kit (doubtful and it would have come back negative), or maybe she didn't.

Also I have the opportunity to return to the same university next academic year but I am wondering whether I should go back there or someplace else (I have offers of other places available to me).

Are any of the others objectively "better"? I'd also look in to suing the university, because fuck them.
