I wouldn't be paying for drinks for the girl on the second date unless I thought the girl was worth it (i.e. potential maybe LTR material, not plate material).

So if this girl is LTR material, no harm to pay for drinks one time.

Also if she's a lightweight who only ever drinks one, I wouldn't even think about it. Who cares. It's like less than $10 for her drink. If she's a career alcoholic and will be asking for more after the bar has run out of everything... then hell no.

If she's not LTR material, maybe joking with her that she can have water or something? Maybe the money will strangely materialize.

And I 99 percent of the time meet them for drinks.

She doesn't have 10-15 bucks?!

But has tons of clothes, a car, done up hair, makeup...etc.
