Hello. So, I've recently been getting this serious dgaf attitude because of my crazy hobbies and success in them (ego is powerful), and finally was able to approach women with an objective- getting their number (cold approaches are new to me, so I'm starting small).

I have a question though. So far, I've been opening up with, "Hey, I saw you from <random spot> and you seemed cute, so I felt like saying hello." So far, this has given me the number, but does it give them too much validation? A compliment straight up? Should this just be a temporary method in order to get completely comfortable with approaching? Thanks.
