Firstly a big thanks to this community, it's changed my life indefinitely for the better. After about a year and a half I've improved dramatically in all aspects of life. Girls are no longer confusing. I now lift for strength and understand how it focuses my mind, rather than just fucking around on my phone. I am driven.

I have a good job making decent money as a software engineer, but stuck in my hometown with awful nightlife. I regularly visit friends in the city (3 hours drive), and always have the time of my life.

So I've been looking to move to the city, preferably asap. Now I've just been offered a job by a top tier company, with better pay and prospects. The problem is I would need to stay and work in their local office in my hometown for at least a year before I would have the experience to move to their city office.

Now I understand it would make sense as a career move, in addition to this it would be easy to move back in with the parents and save aggressively for the duration of the year. However I graduated university 3 years ago at this point and I truly miss the freedom of letting loose with friends. In addition to this I am in a place where i value enjoyment over money.

For all of you experienced red pillers, what would you do? Be sensible or try and find another job (potentially less money and much harder to save) but have a great social life?

TLDR: Offered great job but would require a year of boredom, tempted to decline and go have fun while young.
