I've had good dates in my life, but more often than not dates are no fun at all.

It feels like I'm trying to hard and that by the end we're both glad it's over. I've had easy dates where IOIs were very obvious, but plenty of dates where I don't even want to hug them goodbye or text them the next day.

My sample size isn't enormous, which could explain my problem to some degree. Is this just something to keep doing until I get better at it and am no longer nervous about it? Can anyone else speak from their experience? In case it matters, I'm 22 and I understand that I'm not at the age where it becomes easier to woo girls.
