I was playing the piano in school when a girl I kind of know from classes sat down next to me. After playing/talking to her, she asked if she was bothering me. I responded with something along the lines of not being able to love anyone more than the piano, but she was not bothering me, she was a companion.

Did I push her away too harshly? I actually like her and did not mean to give her that impression, but I was thinking in terms of shit test. Thank you.
