In short: I am 23 and went to a bar last night with some friends. Most friends left, so by the end it was only me, my sister (19) and a friend of hers (female;19). They were both somewhat tipsy and are both attractive. I was tipsy too, but was still keeping it together. Finally we left and headed home.

On the way home 3 guys saw an easy target (a not very tall guy with 2 girls) and started swarming around us like vultures. One of them even asked me if I was dating either of the girls to which I said no. I hear them keep talking shit such as "he got frienzoned" or "look at that chick's ass" and so on. As I said, one of the girls was my sister, the other was a friend of hers that I am not interested in. Still, those comments annoyed me and at one moment I lost my cool and turned around telling the guys to leave us. At this moment the two girls (who were kinda drunk) started talking shit to those guys, which made things even worse. Anyway, we eventually part ways and I and the girls went home, the intruders went their way so nothing happened.

However, I left feeling really irritated and angry. Some background on me: I am in good shape, and train, and am rather proficient in a fighting sport. In general, if it were one guy, it wouldn't have bothered me. However, they were three so I know that my chances in a physical confrontation are rather slim. Because of that, I was forced to shake it off and head home with the girls like I didn't hear the fuckers talking shit. I guess my question here is "What was I supposed to do?". Was this a good call or was there anything else that could have been done? I wish I had a mate with me for some backup, but as tipsy as I was it didn't seem like a good idea risking to get physical with 3 other dudes when all backup I had were 2 drunk girls. Still it left me seriously irritated, especially since I know that those douchebags are now thinking to themselves how tough they although I could have probably taken on each one of them 1 on 1.
