I live in a small city in SC. About forty minutes from anything cool in downtown Charleston. I don't have the skills to make enough money to get my own place so I'm living with my best friend of many years and his gf who I've also messed around with and whom i have a moderate amount of oneitis for.
Not ideal obviously, but it works well enough. We get along despite my occasional bouts of sperg and awkwardness. We're thinking about moving to Atlanta in spring to be near more opportunity and people. I couldn't afford or devise a way to do this on my own i think.
I want to live in a bigger city for all the regular reasons but i don't want to continue this weird situation, obviously. I have a small college fund of about 16000 that would get me through community college and then some or whatever.
Should i move back in with my shitty parents and go to community college or a trade school in shitty South Carolina? Is the bigger city worth continuing this scenario? I'm not sure about the pros and cons of either or what living in a bigger city is like.
Any clarity or common sense I'm missing would be immensely helpful, I'm not sure what to do. Thanks
