Really good question! My personal thought is that there are two broad reasons - one is the society and media makes us feel that we are losers if we dont have sex, and they glorify the sexuality to the point where without it we are nothing.

Second is our own innate insecurities. We try to fill the lack of our self worth with things like money, girls, success etc.

If you are happy with who you are, and you dont crave girls, you are not missing out on anything. If you happen to meet and click with someone, great! But if you dont, you are still living your life to the fullest.

Don't buy into society's idea of what to do. Screw that noise. Just do your own thing. You aren't missing out, trust me. Our social media now is saturated with sexual images and provacative material that makes you think that you NEED to engage in sex and women. This had resulted people being and feeling brainwashed. Since so many young people have so pressure on them to do so many things! Go to school, do well, work and get money, pay off loans, work out, eat well and look good on social media etc It is madness! It is best to limit social media and make sure you have you own values and priorities incheck that aren't overly influcned by other people and what is seen as the "right thing to do". Don't give into the peer pressure and "drink the Kool aid". Everyone's lives goes at their own pace. Don't rush because relationships and sex can be messy and filled with drama especially in your early 20s. So many kids at that age are immature and clueless or are using sex/relationships to keep their ego in check and fill their void and hide their insecurities and low self esteem or just simply use others for things. It's a mad world out there. Just give it time till your feel ready and you might save yourself unnecessary anxiety and stress from the stuff that comes from sex/relationships. Don't let friends make.you feel weird not cool because you aren't into it. Stand your ground! People will eventually respect you for being yourself authentically. No need to rush because it won't do anything..no point.to prove anything to anyone! I wish I didn't rush even though I got involved in this stuff later in life too but I felt.i did it because I felt ashamed, emberased, and to prove something to myself and others. It's just dumb. Just focus on yourself and your goals, and make sure to know yourself Wella Nd love yourself before you get into a relationship. Dating is hard these days at any age, but might be a bit better if you're a bit older and matured. Good luck!

Honestly i started at your age, i had 4 ons during the last year and a half and i am not even trying, i dont go out more than once a month for party, still focusing on self improvement.
