I'm curious to hear what you guys think.

Met a girl on Hinge, she initiated and we hit it off quite well. She gives me her number out of nowhere. I text and we talk a bit. We settle on a date, walk in the park with her dog. Had some good conversation, but admittedly there wasn't much tension. I did like her, though and wanted to get to know her better. We only had limited time, we had other things to do so the date lasted maybe an hour. We both agreed to see each other again. We chatted on WhatsApp a bit in the meantime, all in good fun, but I didn't put too much effort in. I don't like texting.

Now, one day before the second date she tells me she doesn't feel a connection and doesn't want to meet.

Obviously I'll just move on with my life. But my question; should I even respond to this? Or is it a lost cause. It's been a few hours since she texted me and I haven't bothered texting her back.
