I’m just bored of being alpha, or some quasi mixture of alpha/beta/sigma whatever-the-fuck - it’s stressful keeping plates, it’s hurtful to watch girls hurt because they think that they’re in love with you, and most of all, I just miss the feeling of actually believing that this girl could be the one for me.

I’m a high SMV guy - regularly spin plates with a few thousand insta followers/go to prestigious universities/hot/high iq (decent girls)

Based on my tinder match rate I’m in the top 2%

I’ve gotten pretty good at this, but it’s just not me.

But, idk, it’s just soul crushing to have the amount of cognitive dissonance that I have.

I get that game/hypergamy exists and is nearly a set of natural evolutionary laws filtered by culture , but I just feel horrible, I don’t really derive that true pleasure that I got in my more-beta days, and my hopes of finding a life partner seem bleak.

What is the end goal? or are we just assumed to keep spinning plates until we drop...

Has anyone here actually found happiness out of doing this over the long term, or is it just a cathartic I-was-beta-but-look-at-me-now routine designed to prove to ourselves to other guys and our former selves?

I don’t wanna make this post ENTIRELY a bleeding heart woe is me existential dread post (even though there are elements of that in here)

I want to actually see if these tactics ended up creating a loving relationship between two people that is sustainable in the long run who are both of strong character and will (not some easily manipulated mail order wife shit)

Part of the reason that I ask this is because my friend recently exited a relationship and I have the choice to encourage him on this path or encourage him on the blue pill path - he’s smart enough and attractive enough to have a decent quality LTR that doesn’t divorce rape him without game, but might not have as much success as if I encourage him to use the techniques here...

TLDR:

Has practicing game made you truly happier with women, or has it prevented you from forming loving relationships with women entirely?

Why/why not?

Bonus if you can include Big-5 personality traits or MBTI etc so that I can get an idea if that affects how you view game and how you perceive it has affected your personal life

My friend and I are both ENTP-A

And score high for openness, low for agreeableness, low for neuroticism, high for extroversion, and middle for contentiousness

If you think that personality typing is a load of crap fair enough - it might be - but still would be interested to see the results...
