Hi Seddit, Subscribed here about 3 weeks ago and I've been reading a bunch of stuff that's been pretty damn insightful. Still picking up the jargon. I'm someone who grew up with two stronger, older brothers. They constantly bested me at sports and scuffles, and I grew up thinking that that's just the way it was, I'm not meant to win or something. This self defeating attitude is BULLSHIT! I knew this well before joining seddit but didn't realize how far into my life it had spread. Only after using the concepts I've learned here, such as outcome independence, not being a "try hard", and generally just believing in your inner awesomeness am I realizing...I'm pretty great! I can barely comprehend what I've gotten myself into here, but so far so good. I've had better interactions with women now than ever before. I'm not brooding over missed opportunities or whatever and keeping my head up. I found that while at the gym, getting my hair cut, or any other place where there were women I was interested in, I was really just tailoring my actions to what I thought would get me hook ups. This didn't work for me, at all. Now, after learning a few things, I'm able to say to myself "take it easy, don't run yourself up a wall trying to please/attract." I figure all I gotta do is practice, read, practice to become more comfortable with my new self and eventually pick up some incredible women.

Thanks seddit, from the bottom of my heart.
