To clarify: 'Fs' stands for Females, I just wanted the title to be shorter.

The revelation I've started to recently notice in age groups 20 and younger (I am myself a teen) are narcissistic girls longing for attention. And yeah, it might sound obvious, but never did I think about the great lengths they can go to. Shit is starting to get out of hand, and social media is at fault.

So, let’s imagine a figural girl. She’s cute and all that, quite active on social media but not beyond norms. She likes to chat, answers quickly enough to not have you notice something is off. And you go on dates. Oh, the dates – she seems to like you, enjoys the jokes you make, talks about herself. But then you can notice she is receiving notifications on her phone. Yeah, nothing special, they all have different options, many other guys (on this very subreddit there is a post somewhere about an overweight 5/10 getting absurd amounts of attention from some man calling and messaging her recklessly – nowadays every women is feeling wanted). But then the dating stage starts to last for months. You might try kissing her, she won’t want to – the best version I’ve heard is you even get to cuddle and hold hands – but you still are not partners, and you don’t get to have sex despite dating for such a long time. She will say she still hasn’t decided if you point the problems out. And she probably is still messaging (and messing with hehe) other guys and meeting other guys – you can’t tell and she will not tell. And as months pass by she might start responding a little less often and less and less..

One girl I was struggling with was of this kind. And she was even receiving gifts from other guys. She was suggesting it but not saying it explicitly. To make me jealous, ye? To rise one’s price on the market – "you see, they want me, they love me". They like to tease you, make you jealous, consequently more invested.

The girl from the paragraph above is easier to demask as a narcissist but I am also aware of many cases when the victim (the male) couldn’t actually tell if she was dating other people and if he still had a chance. An one-sided situationship?

It is so hard to trust. They can be meeting with you, texting actively, and still not be interested. And are willing to carry things for a long time.
