I'm going to start off by saying being a 18yo virgin isn't bad. Don't worry about being a virgin because all that is going to mess up your psych. When you talk to girls, it doesn't matter if they're into you or not. I'm not saying that "no means convince me." I'm saying if you're interested in the girl you're talking to, escalate it regardless of if she's into you or not. If she doesn't respond well to your escalation, stop. Rinse and repeat with another girl.

I had this problem too when I was young. The mistake is that you think girls that are not interested in you are going to bother having a conversation with you just to be nice and that in general doesn't happen. If you are able to hold a conversation with them, then they are interested.

Assuming attraction to me is so you don't see someone and don't bother approaching because you think they won't be attracted. Actually having a conversation is already past that point.

I would work on a "hey I have to go, put your number in my cell" kind of thing and a "lets get away from this crowd so we can continue this conversation" kind of thing.
