Dig deep within yourself about why you are opening in the first place.

If its to - show off - prove to yourself - feel awesome about yourself - be seen as a guy who has no fear opening or any other reason in different forms, It won't work.

I went through this phase for a week until I had to cry and release the negative ego part. Meditate a bit and see on why it happens and why you are doing it in the first place.

Be fucking vulnerable and real when you approach. Also approach girls who you are "really" attracted to.

Pratice frequently and consistently. Frequency + consistency is king for improving socially.

You can try and build some investment first. Move them somewhere.

You do you switch into the flirty vibe? That is a very very useful thing to do.

A huge conversation thing is to volunteer infromation. She says he'll was your day. Don't say "good" say "good/tiring I did x y and z " doing that gives her 3 jumping off points. And half the time they will pick up on it and do the same. Giving you more jumping off points.

be charismatic and thread your conversations.. aka asking questions and asking more questions about the answers given to get below surface level bullshit answers. google juggler's method (beginning part is about that sort of, bit more advanced)

it's a quantity game. most girls aren't going to give a fuck or will be taken or whatever. just keep trying. get ripped, in the meantime.

You can also read Models by Mark Manson the Chapter of Effective Communication which is before the last chapter. It has some really helpful techniques to avoid boring conversations.

It's probably the topics you choose. Instead of asking questions state something you see around you. If you're in a coffee shop say "hey this ___ isn't good what would you recommend?" She gives the answer "Oh man you must be the queen of coffee" something stupid it doesn't really matter. Just say anything that YOU think is interesting. Talk about what interests you. If you like scary movies ask her does she like scary movies. Elaborate on her answers dig deep.
