Dance first, talk later. If you're asking how to get girls to dance with You, go out to the dance floor and dominate that shit. Make eye contact a couple of times, point and wave her over...grab her hand and spin her blah blah typical shit. Ezpz

As far as learning to dance it's all about energy and not giving a fuck. Learn how do it a basic EDM shuffle "running man" for the big drops but for reguar club music just bump and grind.

Probably a stupid question but sorry I'm a noob. So let's say I approach a girl in a club, introduce myself and we throw a few sentences back and forth.

RSD Tyler covers this wonderfully in his video about picking up in club environments. The basic idea being, you are in a club, people are there to have fun. If you want to relate to people, you should be sharing in that fun. Now, what is that fun revolving around? The venue is organized around loud music and dancing. So simply opening verbally, is an interruption. Interrupting the fun is not the way to start. It's not that you can't open verbally at all, it's that often, you have far better tools at your disposal and using words often increase the difficulty curve unnecessarily.

Opening at a club by trying to start a verbal conversation, is like going to a LAN party without a computer and prying the headphones off of someone and demanding that they have a conversation with you, while they're in the middle of a match.

Clubs are based around loud music and dancing, so your best openers are going to be non-verbal. Eye contact. Facial expressions. Dancing. Etc. So you do have it backwards. You open with dancing and if things go well, she'll make a conversation possible. She'll push for one. She'll ask your name, etc.

Again, the issue is that you're starting off with talking and worse, realize that the people most open to interacting, are on the dancefloor. All the girls on the sides, are the awkward ones who aren't in a fun state of mind. You're literally cherry-picking girls to talk to from the group that's least likely to be fun or open. The ones who aren't dancing because they aren't feeling it.

You want to dance with girls, go to the girls who are already dancing.

Also, do any of you happen to know a video or 2 with some basic dance moves for this kind of thing? My dancing skills are very limited. I'd appreciate any help with this.

Look, I used to be worried about this shit. What I'd recommend for you is to sign up for a hip-hop class through a university or something. A little 1 credit class that meets 1-2 times a week for a few months. University courses also have office hours so if you have questions or need some one on one, you can hit the teacher up then.

That's what I did, but honestly, after I did, after I went back to the club thinking I was "ready" now, I found out that MOST people in a club don't know what the fuck they're doing. You're worried for nothing. No one cares if you really know how to dance. What matters is that you can let go.

But if you're really intent on some basic videos:

A great foundational bit of dance vocabulary: the two-step.
And keep in mind, not a lot is truly required for interaction. Mostly the girls will be doing the crazy stuff. Guys can basically stick to basic stuff and be fine. Look at this brief bit of interaction. When the girl actually turns around and backs it up, the guy doesn't need to do much. He kind of just bobs up and down. That's basic level stuff and it doesn't require any knowledge really.

Why would you want to go from talking to dancing? The goal is the opposite. Pull girls from the dance floor to have a conversation. The skills you learn from the community will be wasted if you dont talk to her. But if you insist on learning dance moves for pua then check out chi szeto on youtube or get his program
