Went out last night for a friends birthday. We had a decent group with a few attractive girls and one I was interested in. After some time hanging with my group and the girl I was interested in not putting in enough effort or reciprocating any of my advances, I decided it was time to meet some new people.

This isn’t chronological, just girl by girl.

Girl 1: I ran into an old friend there and started talking to girls that were in his proximity but he wasn’t engaging at all. Got talking to one girl for a while, had a good convo until her girlfriends left the area and some guy came up, who I pegged as being either a boyfriend, but most likely a friend zone based on his look of distaste for me, so I excused myself for a bit. I ran into her again later and talked a bit. She asked me to share her drink with her so I did, and then grabbed her number as my friends were getting me to leave.

Girl 2: Saw a girl trying to squeeze by a friend so I said, “don’t mind him, he’s an asshole you can just push through” and as soon as I said that she was hooked, which I didn’t expect at all, but I guess some girls are looking for any reason to talk. I chatted her up for a bit until my friends said I had a drinking waiting for me at the bar. I told her I had to run and grabbed her number and didn’t see her the rest of the night.

Girl 3: hottest girl I talked to. I had seen her earlier and talked to someone else in a group she was hovering in. I saw her and some friend, so I went up and introduced myself to the both of them along with my unofficial wing. Tried to talk to the friend but she was super cold and wasn’t attractive, so I shifted to the girl of interest until the cold friend pulled her out. I found out she had just moved to town, so I found her again 10 minutes later and said we should hang some time and she gave me her number and then left the bar with her friend. Totally blanked on what her name is.

This was honestly my first real night out meeting girls. I’ll usually meet some when I go out, but this was the best bar I’ve been to in terms of the number of attractive girls to talk to.

I think overall, I had a lot of low level success and I could feel good sexual tension building with the girls 1&2 which has always been my biggest weak spot, so it was good to feel improvement and get more comfortable with casual touching in conversation and seeing how much that improved my game.

I think in terms of strengths, I think my social circle gave me some validation, I showed I wasn’t needy since friends kept pulling me away from girls and that gave me the chance to show that I value my friends over attractive girls. Girl #3 is the goal, and I think despite talking with her the least that I’m in a solid spot since I happened to ignore her most of the night (legit not even intentional) while having fun and talking to other girls, so I hope I’m perceived as enough value to get a date from the number close, but time will tell.
