Pretty sure the community has come a long way since the times when the majority of people were doing the things you're describing.

What you're talking about is basically Mystery Method and that really isn't even a thing in the community these days.

In my opinion, as I'm beginning to read this, it's almost like a lot of people here force compatibility. Even though the girl isn't really right for the guy, they'll still attempt to pursuit them, which leads to them jumping through hoops and shape shifting their personality to fit their target.

In my opinion, when I'm compatible with someone we just click, conversations flow easy because we have mutual interests to talk about.

I hate to think of this as a game, I want organic connections with people.
