Thanks to Ciel (Chen City) here is the best formula/playbook for dealing with shit tests that I've ever seen. It's from his community at playingfire.com.

A couple comments: #3 agree and amplify, what it means is, "amplify to the point of absurdity so that the shit test ends up sounding ridiculous"

#5 is for when she keeps throwing up so many repetitive shit tests that you call her out on it

1) She says: "How do I know I can trust you"

Flip back: Yeah and how do I know I can trust you? Maybe you're some kind of crazy chick who's going to borrow my jacket and never give it back.

2) She says: "You're a bit shorter than the guys I usually date"

Ignore and move on: Hey those shoes are really cool. Know why I pay attention to people's shoes? Cause good taste in shoes implies good taste in underwear.

3) She says: "How do I know it's safe to come to your apartment?"

Agree and amplify: That's OK, if you're worried bring some pepper spray and keep 9-1-1 on speed dial.

4) She says: "I'm not the hooking up kind of girl"

You: Give her a big, sweet smile with your head tilted, like that is so cute.

5) She says (for the 4th time): "You're not my type."

Call her out: Jesus you're like a broken record. Are you really nervous? It's making you babble. Hold my hand and listen to me: I don't bite! I might nibble a bit and spank you but only if you say "Please".
