I started talking to some girl at a meetup. She was complaining about having the same conversation over and over again so i started talking about random things.Things were going well, she kept leaning into me (like really leaning into me) and was mirroring me. She went to talk to her friends at one point and came back like 10 minutes later and sat down. Shit was going good again and then she told me about how trading stocks was a hobby of hers. Then it was like a lightbulb flipped and she said “I have to go to the bathroom” and then didn’t seem interested in talking to me for the rest of the night.

I really don’t know wtf to think but I’m sort of bummed because this was the hottest girl I’ve gotten decently far with in awhile and also because I think I actually liked this one. I honestly wonder if she lied about being single because it was so bizarre. I mean i know girls are weird as shit and I’ve been subjected to some very confusing behavior but I’ve never had someone just suddenly switch like that before. I tried to talk to her one more time but she clearly didn’t want to talk so I just gave up.

Edit: I figured this out. I picked a narcissistic girl again and she took my odd reaction after she told me about stocks as a possible sign of rejection and then avoided me because it upset her view of herself as perfect.
