a few texts with "theater girl" from this FR, and the few days after. i'll excerpt them out since she's just bookends of the last FR.

So i'm standing at the sidebar and i text the girl from this FR, (theater girl) which i was already planning on doing. like one of those keep-her-on-the-line texts since she's away on break. i basically said that i was on track to have a crazy night so i would text her NYE kiss now, so i didn't forget. I didn't get anything back, and this knocked my state down yet another peg.

3 hours later [the next day] i get another text "hahah i was already at that point when i got your text. thanks for the kiss" from theater girl

now my plan all along was to find out when she was coming home from her break, so i sent her this about 3-4 hours after i received the above text.

Me: "oh yea wild nights. when you comin back to [city]?"

nothing until the next day. either she is waiting to play the game or she is one of those people who are terrible with phones.

TG: "I should be back in town around the 15th"

i leave it unread and wait 2 hours. i'm thinking the 15th is pretty far off from now, attraction is only going to bleed out from here on after. i decide to try something.

Me: "That's like forever from now"

and i sent it. within a few minutes i was kicking myself. i knew the tone i wanted to say it in but i knew it wouldn't be read like that. i knew it would be read all whiny and beta and shit. this is now officially a hole i need to dig out of.

TG: (only like 15 mins later, finally) "Oh stop whining it's only like 13 days."

ach i knew it would get read whiny. but it seems promising. "only" 13 days implies it's not a bid deal for her. there's also the implication that she's willing to wait and she wants to see me again. time to launch recovery.

Me: "I'm just worried about you, you gotta be experiencing [chumpta]-withdrawal by now"

THAT'S the tone i wanted good sirs.

TG: "yea but the cold sweats have stopped so i think i'm on the ups"

lol. she's playing with it now. but i want her to be addicted to me, not recovering. i'm getting greedy now, i'm out of the hole essentially, but i want more.

Me: "Oh you'll be back on the wagon in no time."

did i bite off more than i could chew? should i have settled earlier with my playful metaphor? DID I GO TOO FAR?!?!?!?1

TG: "I hope so"
